7th ANNUAL FATHER/SON Team Classic at PINEHURST, NC

June 1-5, 2003

Long considered the home of golf in America. Now with eight outstanding courses, Pinehurst #2 hosted the U.S. Open in 1999 won by Payne Stewart and will once again host the US Open in 2005.  Imagine Father/Son, spending each day on the famous Pinehurst Courses and dining together at the Pinehurst Resort, gathering memories of a lifetime.

CONTESTANTS:

• A team consists of one the following:
  Father/Son
  Stepfather/Stepson
  Father-in-Law/Son-in-Law
  Grandfather/Grandson
  Special Father/Daughter Division 

HOTEL:

• The luxurious four diamond Carolina Hotel located at the Pinehurst Resort.

GOLF COURSES:

Pinehurst #2: Designed by Donald Ross, and is a legend in the golfing world and site of the 1999 U.S. Open and again will host the US Open in 2005.
Pinehurst #4: Designed by Tom Fazio in 1999 as a tribute to Donald Ross.
Pinehurst #8: Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 1996 to rave reviews. Site of the 1997 & 1998 PGA Club Professional Tournament.

COST:

• Contestant sharing a room $2295.00 per person
• Contestant in a single room $2675.00
• Contestant with wife/guest $3290.00**

** Included in the guest fee are hotel accommodations, double occupancy, breakfast and dinner daily, Welcome Reception, Awards Cocktail Party and Banquet.

INCLUDED IN COST:

• Four (4) nights accommodations double occupancy at the Carolina Hotel,  taxes and gratuities.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

• 54-Hole Team One Best Ball Net
• 54-Hole Team One Best Ball Gross

TEAM PRIZES:

• Team prizes consist of crystal engraved with the Tournament logo.
• Prizes awarded to overall champions in both Net and Gross Divisions.
• Prizes awarded in each flight for both Net and Gross Divisions.
• No team may win in both divisions.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

• Tournament field is limited to first 40 teams entered with completed entry form and deposit.
• Final payment is due April 30, 2003.

AIRFARE:

• Airfare is additional and may be arranged though your travel agency.

EARLY ARRIVALS & LATE DEPARTURES:

• For early arrivals and late departures please contact the tournament office at 800-797-9464. A credit card is required to secure these rooms.
• A limited number of tee times are available for those staying at the Pinehurst Resort prior to the tournament.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:

Sunday, June 1st
Arrive at the Pinehurst Resort. Golf is included in the tournament price.  From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, team registration. At 7:00 PM, Welcome Reception and Orientation, followed by Dinner at the Resort.

Monday, June 2nd
Breakfast at the Pinehurst Resort. 1st round of the 54-Hole Cleveland Golf Father/Son Team Classic. Dinner on your own.

Tuesday, June 3rd
Breakfast at the Pinehurst Resort. 2nd round of the 54-Hole Cleveland Golf Father/Son Team Classic. Dinner on your own.

Wednesday, June 4th
Breakfast at the Pinehurst Resort. Final round of the 54-Hole Cleveland Golf Father/Son Team Classic. 7PM, Awards Cocktail Party followed by the Awards Banquet.

Thursday, June 5th
Depart for home after breakfast.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Deposits will be refunded 60 days prior to the event.
• 59 days prior to the event no refunds issued.
• No refunds for unused services.
