Here is an opportunity for a team from your club to participate in a tournament over the famous Pinehurst courses and to enjoy the historic village of Pinehurst. 

CONTESTANTS:

• Team consists of one (1) Golf Professional (Club Professionals only) and three (3) amateurs. 
• Amateurs are the choice of the Golf Professional and do not have to be members of his club.
• All contestants must enter as a four (4) man team.

HOTEL:

The Carolina Hotel, Pinehurst Resort's signature hotel, has been selected as the Tournament Headquarters for the World Pro-Am.

GOLF COURSES:

Pinehurst #2:

The famous Donald Ross design on which Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open and where the U.S. Open will be held again in 2005.

Pinehurst #4:

Tom Fazio designed this course as a tribute to Donald Ross and has been well received as a great layout.

Pinehurst #7:

This course was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Pinehurst #8:

Another great Tom Fazio design which has hosted the PGA Club Professional Championship.

COST:

• Contestant sharing a room $2795.00
• Contestant in a single room $2945.00
• Contestant with wife/guest $3895.00**
• Golf Professional with wife/guest $1100.00
• Golf Professional sharing a room No Charge*
• Golf Professional in a single room $150.00

*Golf Professional is the guest of the Tournament Committee and will receive the same package as the amateurs plus $300.00 appearance fee.

**Included in the guest fee is hotel accommodations, double occupancy, breakfast and dinner daily, Welcome reception and Awards Cocktail Party and Banquet.

• Five (5) nights accommodations double occupancy, at the Carolina Hotel, taxes and gratuities.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

• 72-Hole Team One Best Ball Net 
• 72-Hole Team One Best Ball Gross 
• 72-Hole Professional Championship for total purse of $2,500.00
• All amateurs must provide proof of handicap to compete in Net Division.

TEAM PRIZES:

• Team prizes consist of crystal engraved with the Tournament logo.
• Prizes will be awarded in both Net and Gross Divisions.
• No team may win in both divisions.

***$40,000.00 includes Professional Appearance money, Professional prize money, Team Crystal Trophies and Team Gifts. Based on 20 teams

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

• Tournament field is limited to first 20 teams in with completed entry form and deposit of $500.00 per person. 
• Final payment is due September 24, 2004.
• Entries will not be accepted after September 24, 2004.
• Airfare and rental cars are additional. Travel arrangements and rental cars may be made though your local travel agency. 
• The nearest airport to Pinehurst is the Raleigh - Durham Airport.

EARLY ARRIVALS & LATE DEPARTURES:

• For early arrivals and late departures please contact the tournament office at 800-797-9464. A credit card is required to secure these rooms and golf.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:

Sunday, November 14th
Arrive at the Carolina Hotel, Pinehurst Resort.  Practice round today for teams who have made golf reservations.  Registration from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM  Welcome reception and dinner beginning at 7:00 PM.

Monday, November 15th
Breakfast in the Carolina Room beginning at 6:00 AM.  1st round of the World Pro-Am begins.  Dinner in the evening included at the Pinehurst Resort.

Tuesday, November 16th
Breakfast in the Carolina Room beginning at 6:00 AM.  2nd round of the World Pro-Am begins.  Dinner in the evening included at the Pinehurst Resort.

Wednesday, November 17th
Breakfast in the Carolina Room beginning at 6:00 AM.  3rd round of the World Pro-Am begins.  Dinner in the evening included at the Pinehurst Resort.

Thursday, November 18th
Breakfast in the Carolina Room beginning at 6:00 AM.  4th round of the World Pro-Am begins.  Awards Cocktail Party and Banquet in the evening.

Friday, November 19th
Depart for home after breakfast.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Deposits will be refunded 60 days prior to the event.
• 59 days prior to the event no refunds issued.
• No refunds for unused services.
